Bruce Carter started diving in 1968. Bruce completed the 'Century Diver' level (100 dives) in 1974.
He reached the 500 dive level in 1994, and then reached the 1000+ dive level in 1998.
Bruce started as a teenager in St Petersburg Fl and has worked his diving north arriving in Syracuse in 1981. In addition to being an NAS dive instructor Bruce has a Ph.D. in Psychology and is on the faculty at Syracuse University.
Bruce's favorite diving spot in Central New York is Staghorn Point in Skaneateles Lake. In the all the oceans of the world Bruce likes the Great Barrier Reef in Australia and would like to dive in Thailand and Papua New Guinea.
