Local Diving

National Aquatic Service's Dive Boat "Grandad" will be taking out CNY SCUBA Divers to sites all over Skaneateles Lake.

The 40' dive boat has plenty of room to stow gear and still be able the stretch out and enjoy the ride.

It departs every Wednesday and Friday evening, and Saturday afternoon from Sevey's Boatyard on the west shore of Skaneateles.

Every dive is for everyone, the boat is anchored in 10'-20' of water where the bottom slopes as deep or as shallow as you want to go.

This year we'll be viewing the bottom of Skaneateles Lake with the our new Side Scanning Sonar to give us a "picture" of the sites before we dive them.

Every trip you will be accompanied by a licensed boat pilot and a Divecon to make your boat ride and diving more enjoyable.
